1938 Children’s Hiawatha Walt Disney Picture Book 12”x9.25” Linen-Like Colorful

Offered for sale is a softcover Walt Disney’s Hiawatha – A Walt Disney Picture Book.  This is a Whitman publishing with 1938 copyright.  Measuring approximately 9-1/4” x 12" this is a large children’s book and it has 10 colorful pages (not counting the outer covers).  The book tells a story of a young boy named Hiawatha who has many animal friends in the forest.  On the front lower right corner, the book advertises “Linen-Like” and the pages are a thick paper.  On the back lower right cover is the number 924 which may be a media number.  The book has some condition problems.  There are stains, finger smudges, age darkening, and creases.  There is an approximately 2” long separation on the lower binding.  Also, there is pencil markings on several pages.  The large linen-like Hiawatha is hard-to-find affordably, the pictures are colorful and comparatively good condition.  The 3 staple binding is holding the pages firmly.  Nice 1938 Hiawatha Walt Disney Picture Book.
