Hand held cordless muscle tissue electroporator

Description

This is a hand held electroporator that is designed for muscle tissue electroporation . It creates enough power to electroporate 1 to 10 cubic cm per pulse for the most effective pore size and density for transfection without causing damage to the underlining
myofibril
structures. This Electroprator produces a nice exponentially decaying sinusoidal pulses 15us long of 1mJ power 200V+ for each press of the trigger switch. Its fork electrodes are spaced by 1cm the length of a myofibril the PTFE coated non stick low capacitance electrodes are removable for cleaning and sterilization. The unit is hand held  and cordless. The high efficient design is compact and is powered by 1AA alkaline cell lasting for many 1000s of pulses.
The intended purpose is for meat tenderization and instant brining but it can be used to transfect materials into muscle cells.
